Changing Apple ID when it is greyed out

when I signed in to the App store I typed in an incorrect Apple ID and then entered my correct password. Upon realizing the error, I tried to reenter my correct ID but the ID is greyed out and I cannot re-enter the correct ID. How can I change the ID?
