can I use the the iPad air WiFi as a GPS if it's connected to my smart phone hotspot
Can I have the iPad air WiFi connected with the mobile hotpot and work as GPS navigation since the WiFi only model doesn't have a GPS radio inside.

Can I have the iPad air WiFi connected with the mobile hotpot and work as GPS navigation since the WiFi only model doesn't have a GPS radio inside.
The wifi only versions do not have a dedicated GPS chip and rely on router information to determine their location.
There are GPS devices that you can buy and connect to the wifi pad but I have no hands on experience to refer you to.
