I am unable to restart aperture. I was working on some RAW picture when it stopped and when I try to re-start

When I press commond and try to re-open Aperture, nothing happens. Help!

Aperture 3, iOS 7.1

What version of Aperture and OS. How did it 'stop', what messages did you get?
