how do i install mac app store
i am trying to install mac app store on a 10.5.8. Ultimately, I need to update the OS system and upgrade everything...but I don't have the app store.
I am trying to install it on an iMac desktop

You cannot install the Mac App Store. You will need to upgrade your Mac to OS X Snow Leopard 10.6 and then update to 10.6.8 to have the MAS installed on your Mac.
You need to buy the Snow Leopard retail disk from the Apple Store. www.store.apple.com or 1-800-MY-APPLE.
