Adding Copyright Symbol

I use FCP 7. I am trying to add copyright to the end of my video. How do I get the special copyright symbol in my text?

Final Cut Pro 7, Mac OS X (10.5.8)

Depending on the font, it is usually the keystoke Option + g.

I press Option + g and get ©.

there's something called character palette that allows you to copy and paste these symbols. And maybe even better than the user manual is something called googl search.
