I have not upgrade to Snow Leopard due to not being able to use Apple Works. I have used AW since 1991 and love it. Now I have loads of AW documents and the time to upgrade is near. Other than partitioning my HD to upgrade I would like to continue to use AW and not switch back & forth between partitions.

Hi, I ran AW in 10.6.x with the optional install of Rosetta, that runs PPC apps on Intel, but I always like having older OSX versions available for booting... & you certainly need a backup or better yet a clone of all you have.
Like BDAqua I have 10.6.8 on a 2006 MacBook which runs Rosetta seamlessly. It readily opens AW 6 docs but can't translate some of the early AW and Claris Works docs. For these I need to use an older iBook with 10.4.11 and Classic Environment.
Do you intend to upgrade past Snow Leopard?
