How do I move folders in Pages?
Anyone know how to remove a folder from another folder so it will not be a sub-folder?
MacBook Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9.2)
You don't move folders from within Pages. You do that in the Finder.

It isn't really the forum for it. What you are asking for is basic computer handling. Try the MacOs Mavericks forum or get a book in using a Mac. Read the helpfiles for MacOS.

Switch to Finder by clicking on your desktop > click on the Window your folders are in > Menu > View > as List > click on the triangle to unfold any folders > click and drag any folder to any location you want
As fruhulda said, you need to do some basic Mac/Computer classes which are available in most Apple Stores or in books on OSX.

Thank you fruhulda for pointing me in the right direction! I just figiured it out. I am 67 years old and unlike younger folks who are considerably more comfortable, and familiar, with modern technologies- who I call techno-natives, I am old school i.e.: a techno-immigrant-:)

I most definitely could use basic computer instruction, but being reasonable literate, I do not need instruction in english. And you need not be rude buddy!
I was not rude.
I simply gave you the details you asked for.
But now that you have mentioned it. I find your hyper sensitivity and agression to me when I only tried to help, I find that rude and totally pointless.
You are using your supposed "age" as an excuse, you are not that old, not that it matters. We will help you anyway despite your response to sensible advice.
