Every now and again, my trackpad freezes. The cursor moves around, but nothing responds when selected. The only way to resolve it, at least that I have found, is to select every programme that is open, and gradually shut them down. This takes a long time, as nothing responds very well. Eventually I can Force Quit the last few, and then restart, when the probelm seems to disappear for a while. I know it's not the trackpad that is faulty as I've encountered the same probelm witha different trackpad.
