The search bar on Safari where you type in web address is gone, as is Google search box. Have icloud (partial) on my iMac with Ios 10.6.8.
Still have choice of google and icloud mail (use latter). What is imac PPC?

1. Choose Show Toolbar or Customize Toolbar from the View menu and put it back.
2. iMac models released prior to 2006. These used PowerPC CPUs and not Intel ones.
