Mac will suddenly not sync to appleTv

We have latest AppleTv. All has been working fine for 2 months. Suddenly today, our Mac will no longer sync to appletv. It was working fine just 2 hours ago. Homesharing is on, both on appletv and Mac. However, Mac will not recognized appleTv and appleTv icon has suddenly disapeared. We rebooted everything & still not working. I've read a few discussion boards and have yet to find a solution. Can anyone please help out?

Thank you.

Hi PILc,

Welcome to the Support Communities!

It sounds like you may have tried some, but not all of the steps outlined in the article below. I would suggest closing all apps and shutting the Macbook Air off. Then unplug the Apple TV. Then restart your router. The suggestion to connect with an ethernet cable when troubleshooting will also help determine if this is a Wi-Fi issue.
