A:

Get your Mac 's serial number from Apple Menu -> About this Mac -> click on "Version 10.9.2" until it appears.

Then enter the serial number here: http://www.appleserialnumberinfo.com/

Go to Apple Menu > About this mac > More info > and under iMac, it should say something like 27 inch, Mid 2013.

Check the model ID in the System Information

Download and use MacTracker to determine the year (and every other thing about the machine you could ever want to know).
