I TRY DOWNLOADING APPS FROM THE APP STORE BUT NOT SUCCESSFUL

I GO OPEN THE APP STORE AND TRY TO INSTALL AN APP ON MY PHONE, BUT I AM UNSUCCESSFUL. I CLICK INSTALL BUT THE LITTLE CIRCLE JUST SPINS INFINITELY. HOW CAN I FIX IT? SHOULD I TAKE IT TO AN APPLE STORE.
