I am on a 13" macbook pro and I am trying to use facetime to connect to an ipad 2 in Canada. I am in the US. We are both connected to wifi and whenever they call me and I click accept it just keeps saying connecting... and never connects. Can someone please help me? Thanks for any advice you can give me.

Judging by all the posts on the forum, there seems to be an issue at Apple's end, although they have made no announcement on their status page. Some users have reported that Apple is aware of the issue.
Do you have any advice? I could call apple and see for myself.
There doesn't appear to be anything we, as users can do. We will have to wait until Apple straightens this mess out.
Ok, I just wanted to see if this was a common fix. Have you or anyone else had problems like this?
I haven't used FaceTime recently, but there are hundreds of posts on the forum of the same FaceTime issue.
