If you have 2 different apple ids can you get apps and purchases transfered between the two?

I work for a company who has provided my an Ipone 4s as well as an ipad, which are under the same apple id. I have purchased personal content on these devices during the time i have had them.

I additionally have a personal iphone 4 with a seperate apple id.

I am changing positions and will no longer have the first two devices mentioned. I would like to keep the content i purchased on the work devices but when I have tried to sync, they ask me to erase the phone first before syncing. I do not want to lose any personal information in order to do this.

Has anyone tried to transfer content this way? is it possible? any help would be great.

Thanks!

iPhone 4S, iOS 7.1, have an ipad and another I phone4

Did you use your personal AppleID or your work AppleID?

Purchases are permanently tied to the AppleID you purchased with.

You cannot transfer them to another APpleID.

I don't understand.

Are you trying to sync your personal iPhone to a new computer?
