I had the same problem, and unfortunately the Canon USA site seems to have removed that printer driver, but you can still download it from their UK site:

http://www.canon.co.uk/support/consumer_products/products/printers/inkjet/pixma_ ip_series/pixma_ip6220d.aspx?type=driver…

That link should show the list of drivers for ALL operating systems. If not, select OS X 10.5 or 10.6 from the list, and you should see the iP6220D CUPS Printer Driver Ver. 10.51.2.0 (Mac OS X 10.5/10.6) listed and be able to download it.

Once downloaded, you have to open the download to get the disk image, and on newer Macs, you have to hold down the option key when you open the installer from the disk image, since the software isn't digitally signed by Canon. Since you downloaded directly from their site, it should be safe to install.

Once installed, you need to go to System Preferences, open the Printers & Scanners panel, then click the + sign in the bottom left corner of the list to add the printer. It should automatically select the Canon iP6220d driver if the install worked correctly.
