facetime issue

Recently, I have tried to call friends through facetime on both Mac and Iphone. However, there is unknown issue leading me to not answer or call people. I have updated iphone and mac to the newest version. Also, the wireless I'm using supports Facetime function. So I wonder what I should do to solve this problem?
