Why is it saying this app can't run on your pc

I had just installed OS Windows 8.1 and was trying to download itunes to my pc. It's saying this app can't run on your pc. Can someone give me an explanation? Does it only support Windows 8 and no higher then that or what? What's the deal?

Other OS, Windows 8.1

I can install quicktime from the itunes website but not itunes??? Weird!!!!
