I have apple TV this is second time My money goes down to drain not even load a movie To night I was watching movie but stop never come back .what could be the reason?

The issue lies with your network.

What is your current connection, use speedtest.net

Make sure DNS is set to automatic (settings - general - network)

Go to istumbler (Mac) or netstumbler (PC) to get a report of the network, look for signal strength and noise

I had the exact same thing happen ... for the second time. I'm done renting movies on Apple TV that I cannot watch, and don't get my money back. I have a strong Internet connection, and about 10 minutes into a movie and it stops and says that the movie will be ready to view in 55 hours. Rediculous ... and frustrating. I don't know how to fix this, and I disagee with the other person responding to you who said it was your network. I have a strong network, running through an Airport Extreme -- and this problem persists. I'm done.

How exactly have you verified that your network is strong? Yes, these issues are network related.

I shouldn't post when I'm frustrated. The network indicator signal on my apple tv shows all the bars and my apple tv is located in close proximity to my apple airport extreme. I restarted my router by unplugging it for 30 seconds and then started it back up again. Then my apple tv connected back to the Internet. I will try thi morning to see if I am able to view the movie I rented. Happy to report that I was able to warch the movie! Thanks.

Glad to hear that. Just a note for future, the network indicator and test on the device is not an accurate portrayal of the network.

Reboot will reset the connection, if it happens again then it is likely interference causing it
