Windows is uninstalling this device. (Code 21 )

I had the same problem but I think I have a solution. unplug the ipod from the computer, the go to control panel and uninstall "iTunes", "Apple mobile device support" and "apple application support". then go to apples website and download itunes, then run the installer as administrator, open itunes and plug in your ipod and you should be good.

I have tried this but no joy! Still get code 21 and also code 28 re drivers!

Had upgraded to windows 10 but since removed and gone back to windows 7.

I am very confused but appears so is my computer?

Any advices or help would be appreciated.
