iPhone 3GS ends all calls

Hello I have an iPhone 3GS locked to EE in the uk.

When I put in an Orange SIM card which I have been told works on EE network.

The iPhone does not make any calls instead just ends the calls.

When I call the number from my home phone it says this number does not work

If I put the sim into Another phone everything works.

Also I can get a good signal and my iPhone locates other networks.

Thanks!

I can browse the web on 3G also the iPhone won't send or receive messages.

Hello,

I have a few questions for you :

1- Have you tried inserting another SIM card from the same carrier on the device? Does it works?

2- Have you make sure with your carrier that Orange network is compatible with device locked under EE?

I would advise you to try to restart and reset your device first : http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430

Then to reset your network settings : By tapping Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
