No level slider
Hello! I use iOS garageband through an iPad 2, and when I want to record audio I can't control the input level, it does not appear on the input menu, there is no level slider. Anyone knows why?

Are you trying to open the input menu like this? http://help.apple.com/garageband/ipad/1.4/index.html#chs39283a21
Adjust the microphone input level:
While recording, the large circular (VU) meter shows the input level from the microphone. If the needle goes into the red area, lower the input level (or re-record the part more softly) to prevent distortion.
- Tap the Input button
, then drag the Level slider left or right to set the input level. The Level slider is available if your input source supports software level control.
- To set the level automatically, tap the Automatic switch next to the Level slider.
- If the input device supports left and right channels, tap Left or Right to select the input channel.
Note this: The slider is not always available -
The Level slider is available if your input source supports software level control.
Hi,
Yes, indeed, that's the way I'm open the input menu. But it seems the lever slider is no longer available even when I'm using the iPad 2 microphone.
