The problem for labels on Pages is formatting.

Can anyone tell me how to turn off all formating for pages. I have selected a BLANK DOCUMENT which is anything but blank. You can simply type up your labels and (for instance) space them out so that they are say, 2 wide and 10 lines per page. The problem is Pages won't let you turn off formatting so there is a header and footer that gets in the way of aligning the sheets of lables from Avery or others. I am getting the middle three rows printed acceptably but the rest are out of register thanks to the header and footer Formating... Any one have a solution?

In Pages '09, open a Blank Layout Template (see Sidebar) from the Template Chooser:

Inspector > Document > Document > uncheck Header & Footer

In Pages 5:

Toolbar > Document > Document > uncheck Header & Footer also uncheck Document Body
