So I am in the same boat as everyone else who can't play their purchased music on their iPod after moving the library to another computer. The iPod just skips right over the purchased songs. I have searched these forums and tried all the attempts people have made. None work. I will be leaving for college shortly so I will no longer be able to update my iPod on my old computer (where the purchased songs work).
So does anyone have any advice for me? I can't just forget about all 285 of my purchased songs. This isn't the consumer's problem. Apple has a flaw and they're continuing to ignore it. I don't know what to do. Has anyone found the ultimate answer to this problem yet?
If to believe that this is a fault of Apple that the songs are skipping on your ipod, and that Apple knows this, give them a call at 1-800-265-2273 Opt. 4 technical support. Ask politely if there is a reason for this, if you ipod is under a one year warranty or Applecare, they should be able to replace this for you. Also follow this
