Q: Possible CPU's Problems

Hi there,

A couple months ago, I've noticed my MacBook Pro running slower. First, I thought it was related to software, then I updated my OS to Mavericks, but the problems kept on happening.

Then I thought the cause was overheating and I cleaned up my fans. They were actually really dirty. After the cleaning, the overheat passed but the problems remained.

Launching is taking about 40 seconds, when it used to take about 15/20 tops. Some apps and programs are having breaks. Even when I try to watch a movie, the breaks and bumps are there, so i've already gave up on see anything here.

I already made apple hardware test, but nothing came up. I've been told that maybe it's the CPU that has been damaged from the heat. How can I be sure? What can I do? Is there any CPU test?

Found them and deleted them. Except those you don't know what they are.

Can these items explain the consecutive breaks I have any time I want to watch a movie? Does not matter the app, it happens all the time.

If you have uninstalled them correctly they should be gone, I don't think you have so we wil check.

Run Etrecheck again, post the report please.

You need to uninstall or disable Soundflower (1st item on the list), then reboot

Why do you have 2 NTFS file system utilities? and are you sure that they are compaitible with Mavericks,

StartOuc is another Huwai utility (Like HWnet was) remove it from the startup items, also remove Switcharch from the startup items.

I don't know what a NTFS file is. Or why I have two of those. Sorry, man. Not an expert. At all.

I already deleted SoundFlower and rebooted the computer, but the Kernel Extension is still there. I don't know how to reach that folder.

NTFS is the Windows file system, you have utilities for writing to it (which can not be done by OS X itself)

Soundflower has modified OS X by installing a kernel extension, you must remove it before testing further. Go to the Soundflower webste and search for instructions for uninstalling the software completely. It can be put back later.

A couple months ago, I've noticed my MacBook Pro running slower. First, I thought it was related to software, then I updated my OS to Mavericks, but the problems kept on happening.
FYI, upgrading an OS will not fix problems, and often makes them worse.

I honestly don't understand exactly what NTFS are for. Should I delete them? I guess I have them because of Microsoft Office, but I didn't install them by myself.

I didn't know that upgrading an OS wouldn't fix problems. I thought it would replace all of the damaged/missing files.

What should I do next?

They are required if you want to write files to a drive that is formated for Windows. Do you have a Windows installation or are you saving to a drive that is used with Windows?

Only one would be required.

How is your Mac running now.

Yes, I do have an external driver which is also used with Windows.

The breaks keep on happening, specially on videos and games. This is what worries me the most. That's why I think my CPU is damaged. Is there anyway to test only the CPU?
