MacBook Pro Just Died From USB Plug-In... HELP

Hello,

My MacBook pro was just running perfectly until I plugged my iPhone 5 into the USB port. The USB wire isnt a real apple product. Anyway, as soon as my iPhone vibrated to indicate a charge, the Macbook switched off.

I took out the USB port and tried to turn the Macbook back on and it wont. The button on the side by the 5/6 LED lights does nothing when I press it, it doesnt turn on, and when i plug the charger in, it dimly flashes a green.

Whats happened and what do i do?!
