I took my laptop in for a "clean-up" and now I don't have my pages app.

Where can I re-download it?

Macbook Pro, Mac OS X (10.5.8)

you don't need to take it in, or clean it up, and you definitely want to avoid installing any app that promises to clean caches. Or without BACKUPS.

Your OEM DVD for the original system, the App Store where you purchased and downloaded newer versions.

And if your notebook came with Leopard 10.5.x I assume you have since then upgraded the OS a couple times.

If you took this in to Apple they probably upgraded your system to OSX 10.9.2 Mavericks, which they often do unannounced.

Are you sure you don't have your iWork/Pages software?

Have you searched your Mac using Spotlight and looked in your Applications/iWork folder?

Whoever "Cleaned-up" you Mac is responsible for making sure you can still access your purchased software. First step is to talk to them and get them to reinstall it if it is indeed missing.
