In my iPhotos it's taking and logging every web page I visit - every photo on that page as a separate image - everything! Is there a way to stop this? I just saw it and it goes back years. Has anyone else experienced this?
iPhoto does not and can not do that - iPhoto can only process images that have been imported into it so somehow you are importing these - one way would be to drag an image to the iPhoto program or icon

The pictures are all showing up in iPhoto - how do you think they're getting there? It's only on my MacBook Pro. My other devices aren't importing them.
reboot your system, launch iPhoto and launch Safari - visit a web page - you are saying tht iPhtoo is importing every image on that page with you doing nothing? Is that correct?

As a test launch iPhoto with the Option key held down and create a new, test library. Visit a number of the webipages you've visited previously and see if you're still getting photos imported into the iPhoto Libary. Report back with the restults.
