stop face recognition for some faces

I have several people identified in my faces database that I will never see again. I don't want to delete the photos and I like to keep them filed under their name, but I don't want iPhoto to keep looking for them in my new imports.

Is there a way to move a group of faces to another folder so they are no longer included in the known faces group? Or a way to group my favorite faces into the most likely to be recognized?
