I cannot access the iTunes Store on my iPad. Any ideas why?

It will not open the app. If I attempt to view it in settings, it freezes my settings.

iPad (4th gen) Wi-Fi, iOS 7.1

There are a couple of things you can try. Turn iPad on and off. Go into settings and sign out then in again to your Apple ID, in your settings, safari change block cookies to third parties (if it is already on this change it to something else then change it back). Lastly go into your setting general and reset settings. It doesn't delete data just settings. This last one worked for me.
