Q: My trackpad mouse is not moving with my touch. The cursor seems to have a mind of it's own. I've updated my software and it's still happening. What do I do?

The mouse on my trackpad is not responding to my touch. The cursor is very jumpy and sometimes doesn't allow move it at all. It seems as if my cursor has a mind of it's own...what should I do?

MacBook Pro, iOS 5

Sometimes this is caused by a swollen battery.

Thank you for your time, leroydouglas. I don't happen to be close to any of the apple stores in my area. Will I have to go into a store in order to fix this issue?

If you can not sort it out with Kb article.

A swollen battery is not a good situation. Any authorized service provider can help.
