I have changed my service provider and since then I cannot sync to iTunes and now I have no service on my phone.

I was with Telstra and have changed over to Boost. Since I put the new sim card into my phone I have no service and boost told me that I will need to sync to iTunes to make it work. Now my phone will not sync to iTunes. I had to change my password which iTunes forced me to do. Now I can sign into iTunes however my iPhone 4 will not recognise the new password and I cannot sync my phone at all. Can you please let me know what to do?
