In App purchase still proceed even insufficient bank cash

Hey guys I reckon this might be a fraud and apple might want to pay attention to it.

I've just completed an in-app purchase from MacLife inside the newsstand app for USD 8.99

Here's the interesting part, I had confirmed that my bank account has only about USD 5 for testing purpose, then I continued to submit my purchased, funny enough Apple let me finished the download part and I can enjoy the magazine now!

Wondering why the process still going on while I have no enough cash?

Then after about 30 second my phone rang, the bank notified me that I had purchase an item for USD 0.99, that's the normal routine every time we bought a new app.

So what's going to happen next? Will the bank come after me? Or Apple retract the transaction?

Anyone has experienced that before?

Well, the next time you try to purchase something it will tell you that iTunes is "unable to authorize your credit card for this purchase. Please update your billing info". Which may or may not work for you. If it doesn't, then you will have to put in a new credit card before you can ever buy anything from iTunes for that Apple ID again, or you will have to contact iTunes Support to get it sorted.

When purchases are done on iTunes, an authorization hold is placed on the Debit or credit card. However, the funds are not instantly deducted from the account, so by the time they are, even if there had been enough money to start with, there might not be at that point in time. It is not an uncommon occurrence.

So, the authorization hold is sent to the bank and if they send back an authorization, iTunes processes the purchase.

Cheers,
