My finder does not show Musics, Movies, Pictures folders in the favourite bar, and I can not locate these folders. But they do show up when I am trying to open a document in these folders from other apps. What can I do to find them?
MacBook Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9.2)
Have you checked that they are enabled in Finder>Finder Preferences>Sidebar and General tabs?

Have you looked in your User folder for them?
Still having this problem? Was just looking for the answer myself and you can just search Users in Finder, just make sure it's searching 'This Mac' not 'All My Files'. Find the Folders and just click and drag them back into the sidebar.
