My Ipod nano 6th generation will not show music library after syncing?

My Ipod nano 6th generation will not show music library after syncing? It shows in Itunes as music has been downloaded, but when you check the Ipod nano, it shows no music. It keeps asking to be restored and 0kb's. This is the second time I replaced it with the same problem, again same problem with new one.
