Facetime 1.0.4

I have an IMAC (OSX 10.6.8 - Snow Leopard) and recently downloaded a Facetime update (1.0.4) and I now can't use Facetime as it does not recognise my AppleID password, can anyone help?

iMac (27-inch Mid 2010), Mac OS X (10.6.8)
