using Mail...

Ok, so i'm thinking about upgrading my yahoo mail account so I can use Mail, but I want to make sure it will work first before i pay $20. Does anyone know for sure if you can use POP3 with Mail? That's what you get access to if you upgrade. So if anyone knows if you can use a POP3 account with Mail, please let me know.
