facetime disconnects when answered

At this point I wouldn't go crazy trouble shooting. Like uninstalling, Reinstalling restore and so on. A ton of peoples face time stopped working a few days ago. Personally. Im going to sit back and let apple fix it. Could be a couple of weeks. Wish I had a better answer for ya.

I have an iMac and I haven't been able to use Factime for 3 days either, but I have just followed the advice of another Apple community contributer. I turned Facetime off and then shut don the comuter, waited a couple of minutes and turned it on again. I then turned FaceTime on again. You will need your Apple password. It now works fine. For the iOS operating systems, just upgrade to iOS 7 and that should solve it.
