iPhone 5s Leather Case Problem

It's been about a month ever since I've purchased my beautiful, yellow Apple iPhone 5s leather case. I've noticed that it's gotten a lot dirtier and the case is actually drying out my hands! It has been making me itch due to the irritation from the dryness. I don't want to apply lotion because it could possibly damage the leather on the case.

Is it still possible to contact Apple about this health issue and get a refund or store credit for this?
