Fraps (fps1) codec not recognized by Quicktime

I use Fraps to record games and Quicktime is what I use to edit the videos. The problem I am having is, even with the codec installed I still can not see the files. I get the white screen and the infamous... could not find compressor warning.

Anyone have any clue on how to fix this... I would appreciate it...
