Apr 20, 2014 7:20 PM in response to zencat999by Meg The Dog,You can create a red circle by clicking on the Generator Button at the lower right corner of the Viewer (the one with the "A" on it) and from the drop down menu choose "Text". Once "Sample Text" appears, in the viewer click on the Controls tab and change the text to the capital letter "O", change the color to red and increase the font size to make a large circle. The font Aral will make a pretty round "O". Don't worry about position yet.
When you have your "O" created, edit it to a video track on the timeline above the clip you want to appear behind the circle.
You should now see your circle supered on the clip in the canvas. Double click on the text clip of the "O" on the timeline, so that it loads to the viewer. In the viewer, click on the Motion Tab, and change the Scale and Center to position it where you want.
If you need to track moving video, you can do so with keyframes.
