Canon Printer not connecting to mac

How do setup an connect a canon pixma mg3522 to my macbook pro?

If you don't still have the setup app on the Mac, Go to canon.com/ijsetup Select your country, then your printer, and take it from there.


If it is an older printer you will have to go to their canon.com support tab and do some searching for the setup .dmg package. I cannot see MG3522 on any list.


It may also not be compatible with Mavericks of course.


If it is wifi printer, I recommend using the simplest secure wifi setup on your router, e.g. WPA2 (only), type AES AND 802.11G.
