Is anyone else having difficulty with using FaceTime?

Recently (within the past few days), every FaceTime call I make does not work. The user on the other side of the call answers and the screen says "connecting" but after a few seconds, the call just ends. I have heard from people that it is a glitch in the Apple System and many people are dealing with this issue but I was curious if anyone figured out a way to solve it or at least had answers from Apple. If you have either, please let me know.

If it helps in any way, I have two Apple products that are shared under the same Apple address. Both an iPhone and iPod. Neither of which are working, iPod isn't updated to recent software but the iPhone is. And the user that I keep trying to FaceTime also is completely up to date on software.
