CardDAV, Google & Profile Manager

A Contact Profile on OS X server, shown below fails to connect to Google correctly.

On the client machine console you get the following errors.

If you use the exact same information and create a CardDAV account directly on a Maverick client it work fine. It appears the profile is not creating the URL correctly. Can anyone please suggest a solution?
