iPod's won't turn on after connecting to iTunes

I have a lot of old iPod's. Just a bunch that I found over the past six months. Just right now like 20 minutes ago, after connecting my iPod's. Emphasis on iPod's because now both of my iPod's (Main one's I use) won't work. After connecting to iTunes is when the problem began. iPod Nano 7th Gen and iPod Touch First Gen running v3.1.3.. The iPod Nano won't turn on at all, and iPod Touch says to "Restore iPod", but when I try it doesn't work. I need help. If no one can help then I'll just have to use the other iPod's.
