My iPhone 4 won't connect to iTunes/iPhoto (But it will charge) How do i fix?

Specs:

iPhone 4 - 7.1

iTunes - 11.1.5

I went away for two weeks on holidays when i returned i wanted to upload photos. So when i plug in my iPhone into my computer it starts charging and makes a noise, but it wont register to itunes. I have tried different cords, using different USB ports, restarting my macbook and iPhone on and off many times, all my updates are done everything is up to date. None of this seems to work!

How do i fix this?

Because I really do want to get this fixed.

(I thinks its a phone issue because i get the same issue on different computers, mac and windows)
