ASIO driver

I'm trying to use an audio recording program that requires ASIO audio drivers...It does not seem like the Macbook (OSx) comes with them, so I downloaded a driver that is (supposedly) compatible with Mac, but how do I use it?

Basically: do I have ASIO audio drivers on my computer and if so, how do I access them? If not, can I get them and if so, how?
