HI,
I have a MacBook Air running 10.8.x. It has an Apple USB ethernet adapter and is connected to a Cisco gigabit switch,
If I use ARD to send a 4Mb file to the laptop using Copy Items... the process takes 25 seconds.
If I drag-and-drop the same 4Mb file direcly onto the desktop of the MacBook Air it copies in about 0.5 seconds.
Why does Copy Items... take so much longer than drag-and-drop?
