I'm having the same issue. I'm running a Mac mail version 9.3 on an OS X El Captain 10.11.4 Beta. It happens particularly with the Junk mail comming from from my Yahoo account. Any help would be much appreaciated.

Same issue as outlined above.... Only my Yahoo junk mail is problematic. I've got OS X El Capitan 10.11.2
