Same problem here. I have noticed 3 problems since last week:

1. FaceTime on Mac OS X 10.8.5 can't connect

2. Messages on Mac OS X 10.8.5 can't connect

3. First generation AppleTV can't connect to the iTunes store.

I checked my appleID, iCloud, my account works.
