basically ive spent hours on google trying to figure it out, but i still have found much answers!

i want to install windows purely for gaming purposes and wondering if my mac would handle it? its a high end spec mid 2012 macbook pro.

also do i have to get hold of a mac only copy or would a ordinary copy of windows work?

Your Mac can certainly handle Windows - you may not get the graphics performance you hope for, since Windows games are usually optimized for PC hardware, but perhaps searching for the specific game and "Boot Camp" will give you more information.

There's no "Mac" version of Windows, you need an actual full retail copy of 64-bit Windows 7 or 8.
